Like all excellent shorts, The Tree is really a mini-movie, and succeeds in fully establishing its characters, backgrounds and motivations in well-written and acted scenes.

Michael Sales, Midlands Movie Review

It’s a rare thing for a film to deftly tread the fine line between comedy and tragedy, but ‘The Tree’ pulls it off masterfully, producing a moment of pure pathos.

FESTIVAL AWARD WINNER.

Sarah Smith, Brighton Rocks Blog

Oliver Blair has created an outstanding film that doesn’t shy away from showcasing the unglamorous bereavement process. [] An enthralling watch. Highly recommended.
